good reads

In the past week or so I've been doing a lot of reading, the days are nice and I like nothing better than laying in the back yard in my bikini and reading a book, occasional dunks in the pool keep me from getting too hot and a bottle of iced tea isn't usually too far away either, so what have I been reading?
God's Debris and The Religion War, by Scott Adams(yes the Dilbert guy) books designed to make you think.
The second set of Shannara books(Scions,Druid, Elf Queen) by Terry Brooks, I'm waiting for the darn library to get the final book in that set for me(Talismans) so I can finish it and move on to the more recent books, I read the first set of Shannara books ages ago at the insistence of my then BF Sam, I have no idea why it took me so long to get back to them.
Letters from the Earth, by Mark Twain, nods to Dante for recommending it, again that's a book that makes you think but it's also very humorous.
Memoirs of a Geisha, it had always interested me but I hadn't read it before, I found it captivating.
Good Omens, again nod to Dante for recommending it, I'm but a small way through it and I'm enjoying it immensely, the hell hound being reduced to a small yappy rat chaser is brilliant :)

I also got a few more books at the library, in case you haven't picked up on it I'm a fast reader and I often read more than one book at a time.
Reality Check and Killobyte by Piers Anthony, I would have gone for some of his Xanth but my library only has a mish-mash of titles in in, I can't stand reading series of books out of order.
I, Robot, along with Asimov and Nemesis, by Isaac Asimov, say what you like about Asimov, he's one of my favorites :P

After giving a lesson this morning to Hannah I can see a long afternoon of reading stretching out before me, nice :D
